We are looking for exceptional students that could become amazing teachers - where a passion for maths or physics could inspire the next generation. The Future Teaching Scholars programme offers a £15,000 grant to maths and physics students whilst they study at university.
Although there are other routes into teaching, Future Teaching Scholars benefit from training, experiences and financial support that is unrivalled. Being part of this new route into teaching comes with:
- + A £15,000 grant while studying a maths- or physics-related degree at university
- + One-to-one support finding your first teaching job
- + Support through your undergrad years and into paid teacher training the Autumn after you finish
- + An exclusive annual national conference and events near your uni
Applications are now open but spaces are limited. Apply before 7th April 2019 for the best chance of getting your place.
